Confucianism vs. Taoism
Confucianism deals with having good relations with other people while Taoism deals with conforming with nature. In Confucianism, one must improve himself/herself first, then improve his/her relations with other people in order to attain peace or tranquility. Meanwhile in Taoism, one must not interfere with the balance of nature in order to achieve tranquility as well. The concept of wu-wei is essential to a person because it teaches him to do something by no action at all. The yin yang (Taoism) and the Golden Rule (Confucianism) have become part of our society's culture today.
