Significant contributions of the Egyptian civilization to world civilization

The significant contributions are the following. First, the presence of magnificent temples and pyramids before greatly influenced our society today. If you would go to first-world countries, you would see tall structures or buildings. Aside from the pyramids, they also contributed a systematic form of writing called hieroglyphics. Through the Rosetta Stone, scientists were able to decode the hieroglyphics with the help of Jean Francois Champollion, a French scholar. Lastly, their belief in the afterlife through mummification greatly influenced our way of burying our beloved dead.
