Paul George Must Prove to the World that He Can Lead his Team to Success

As soon as the 2013-2014 NBA regular season started, much was expected from this guy since his team reached the Eastern Conference Finals but failed to beat the insurmountable Miami Heat in 7 games. During the start of the season, he was able to prove to the whole world that his team, the Indiana Pacers, were prepared to have their revenge on the Miami Heat. However, fatigue and injuries derailed the team's success during the second half of the season. Players were exhausted from their hot start and eventually, it affected the team's overall performance. Both their offense and defense declined due to the lack of effort from the players. Even Paul George wasn't able to do something that would improve the team's performance. Now, he must work harder during the offseason in order to prove that he and his team can be consistent. Most of the teams in the Eastern Conference have revamped their respective rosters. Therefore, Indiana must also do the same by adding more quality bench players to their rosters. As the team captain, Paul George must lead, mentor and inspire his team in order to prove that they are a supreme threat in the Eastern Conference.
