If I were an NBA coach, I would...

Gregg Popovich and Erik Spoelstra, two of the NBA's best coaches
There are a lot of phrases that could make the title of this article complete.  Of all the phrases available out there, these are my chosen plans if I were an NBA coach. Do everything in order to win a championship, unleash my players' potential, mold my players into All-Stars, be the best coach ever, etc. Most NBA coaches right now are getting fired by their employees, due to their failure to live up to the organization's expectations. There are 30 teams in the NBA, and only a few are experienced and veteran coaches. Most are just promoted from assistant coach to head coach. But in my opinion, it would be better to promote assistant coaches rather than to hire head coaches who have no experience in the NBA. The atmosphere in the NBA is far more different than any other league. In the NBA, there will always be pressure and high expectations both from the fans and the organizations. So if I were an NBA coach, I would make sure my system fits the talent of the players. It is very important that my players respect me and understand what I want to do for their own good. If players don't respect you, how could you be a successful coach? Then during games, I must see to it that my players get their well-deserved rest in order to avoid injuries. I would also be open to the suggestions and opinions of my players because they also know what's best for the team. If I can accomplish all these, then for sure, I would be able to smell the scent of success.
