For LeBron James, It's Time to Call Cleveland his "Home"
When it comes to making tough decisions, LeBron James always makes the right one. This time, he made another tough decision by going back to his former team and hometown: the Cleveland Cavaliers. In a private interview with Sports Illustrated, James reiterated that he wanted to go back to his hometown because of desire to give them a taste of what it's like to be on top of the basketball world by winning an NBA championship. He also felt that his relationship with the people of Northeast Ohio is inseparable, that is why he came back in order to play for them once again. If you would ask me, James made the best decision of his career. He came back to Cleveland not only for his own benefit, but also for the people of Ohio. Being with the Cavs would restore his former reputation. Now that he is in Cleveland, he wouldn't look like a coward guy who once gave up on his team just because it didn't have the strength to get out of adversity. He wouldn't look like a player who had to rely so much on his teammates in order to achieve a championship. These were the qualities that he was known for when he was still playing for the Miami Heat. Now, James has the chance to prove his critics wrong by leading Cleveland to prominence and stardom without relying too much on a teammate or two. Who knows? His stats might even escalate due to his experience and lack of veteran players on the team. He could even be compared to the greatest players of all time: Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, etc.

Aside from restoring James' former reputation, he can also have the chance to act as a mentor to his teammates. The Cavaliers' roster is filled with so much youth, and James is only one of the veterans on the team. At age 29, he can guide his teammates to the right path and make them better overall due to the experience he had during his stint in Miami. As a leader, he can prove to the world that he doesn't need another prominent teammate in his team in order to succeed. Then I tell you, the so-called "King" rarely transfers to other teams, but when he does, he makes sure that success is right around the corner.
