Carmelo Anthony must sign with the Chicago Bulls if he wants a shot at an NBA title

Anthony will be playing for one of these teams next season

It seems Carmelo Anthony wants an NBA championship. But in order for him to win one, he must sign with a contending team. That team is the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls are trying to repeat history again by being on top of the basketball world since the Michael Jordan era. They can achieve their goal by landing one of the biggest names in free agency, Carmelo Anthony. With a defensive minded coach, a talented roster, and the possible addition of Anthony, the Bulls may be one of the teams contending for a championship, alongside the defending champs, San Antonio Spurs. In Chicago, Carmelo may be able to reinvent his reputation. Since his rookie years, he has always been known as a pure scorer. Versatility isn't part of his overall game. He would be surrounded by an infectious defensive culture because the Bulls are known for having one of the best defensive coaches in Tom Thibodeau. This would help conceal his "Achilles' heel" since defense is one of his greatest weaknesses. Playing for Coach Thibodeau would make him a more complete and versatile basketball player than he has ever been. Plus, he may also have one of the best teammates in Derrick Rose.We all know Rose is a pass-first type of player, so that means he would be able to mesh with Anthony since their talents complement each other.

These two could possibly become one of the best dynamic duos in the NBA

Aside from Chicago, the LA Lakers, New York Knicks and possibly the Miami Heat are interested in signing Anthony. If he signs with one of those teams, then he will surely be asked to do more. What about if he fails to carry the whole team? He will definitely be blamed by his teammates, fans and the organization for failing to do so. In Chicago, he can receive all the help he needs. So if I were Carmelo Anthony, Chicago is the best place for me due to the presence of people who are hungry for success.
