Is Kobe Bryant shooting the Lakers out of games?

Despite the fact that Los Angeles Lakers Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant is extremely productive during the 2012-2013 season, he is still taking too many shots a game, leading to losses for his team. The Lakers are just 4-11 when Bryant takes 20 or more shots per game. But they are 8-3 when he shoots less than 20 times. These stats are even applicable to previous seasons, wherein the Lakers win more games if Bryant takes less shots per game. The Lakers guard is actually shooting fewer shot attempts per game (20.7) this year than he did last season (23). His team won NBA titles in 2009 and 2010 when Bryant took 20.9 and 21.5 shots, respectively. Now that the Lakers have numerous talented players in their current roster, Bryant needs to consider involving them in the offense by increasing his passing and creating shot opportunities for his teammates. If Kobe can change his game by being the team's facilitator while Steve Nash and Chris Duhon are out, then there is a huge possibility that he can save the Lakers' season and lead them to championship #17, like he did two years ago during the Phil Jackson era.
